Bottega Veneta Peid de Poule

Yay for new Fall bags! This is pre-fall but still, it's new and it's exciting! This new Peid de Poule from Bottega Veneta is a houndstooth-like pattern, it is woven then the pattern is printed on after. The bag has a wire frame that is moldable so you can scrunch it down for a slouchy look or you can make it structured. How cool is that? This is the perfect example of the subtle and quiet luxury that Bottega is known for, all the details that only you can appreciate by owning and handling it. I actually catch myself preening and petting my Bottega, is that weird? Call Katherine at the Beverly Hills store, 310-858-6533, or get it online, $2700.

  • i'm so glad that the fall bags have arrived. i was getting bored with the spring/summer collections, which weren't that great to begin with. this bag is perfect for fall. it will go with everything and the fact that it can be slouchy or structured appeals to me. the price isn't THAT bad for a bottega. thanks for sharing kelly!

  • Finally, a Bottega bag that I really like! Not a big fan usually, but this one is coveted :) Thank you Bag Snob for opening up my eyes!

  • ;o) I do pet my BV bag too .....and use it as a pillow when I am travelling....I also have hard time putting it under the seat in front of me in the plane ;o))

Just for information the good spelling is "Pied de Poule" which means Chicken's foot ;o))

  • I adore bottega, what a fabulous new weave!

  • Now this is beautiful!

  • uggghhhh are you kidding me guys? this is GOD AWFUL!

  • You must see it in person. I moved to the city, so I don't get to the larger luxury mall as often, but I went last week and was stunned to see a Bottega Veneta store right under my nose! At any rate, this bag and several versions of this were in the window and I was stunned to see how beautiful it was.

  • Fazes me totally, quite unlike a signature Bottega Veneta style I must say.
