This is the most streamline and sleekest design ever and of course it is from Valextra, the King of simple chic. Nothing is snobbier than having absolutely no pretense. I don't have to flash my wares or even let you know what where or how. You know what I'm talking about, you see a girl with something amazing on and when you ask her where she got it, she smiles coyly and says, "Wouldn't you like to know?". How freaking snobby is that? Actually, that example goes beyond to bitchy, but you get my point. But that pretty much sums up the reason behind the lack of logos on brands like Valextra, Hermes and Bottega. This tote seems overly simple but look at how the straps are fused to the body of the bag, it is the most subtle of details but really really cool! At Barneys for $3270. Comes in this Verdes Prato Green and Oyster as well as a nude and black.

love the prato green, i've never seen a green like that before. and if i can keep the nude one clean for a lifetime, that bags looks seriously snob.
Reminds me of an airplane bag from the 60's, one a stewardess from TWA would have carried
I just don´t like the Valextra bags. They look too cool, maybe even cold.
exactly :D they look cold. lovesit
How did they "fuse" the handle to the bag? Still sewn onto it, no?
Like the green one but at that price?
looks like Hermes Plume...I can see right through this brand. I only have enough love to give to Hermes and Bottega. This one can go start making prescription medicine since that was probably what they were doing before they started making boring, stiff leather bags.
I like the Boston bag, but this doesn't do anything for me.
I'm sorry , but if I had $3000+ to spend on a single bag, it would certainly not be this one. It's so incredibly plain. I don't like logos either, but this looks like something from a discount store.
They had one of these at my local Off 5th for nearly a year; nobody wanted the damn thing even at 70% off.
At that price point I would buy Hermes or Bottega. No one would give this a second glance, and you can always tell a Hermes or Bottega even with no logo.
The oversimplification of this bag makes me love it like mad. I want it, but the price is ridiculous. I know some women love spending on designer bags and justify the high price because of quality and style, but there is a limit to reason. The price tag on this and especially Hermes bags, in my opinion, feeds into a woman's desire for validation more than the actual physical value of a bag.
