Ferragamo Python Clutch

I did some serious shopping today and believe it or not, the most exciting things I saw today was at Ferragamo. Yes, that's right, stupid grosgrain bow on everything Ferragamo. But oh no, this is not your mother's Ferragamo anymore. I am not going to say all their bags are good now but there are definitely key pieces that are very worthy. Like this wrap around clutch. It has so much edge, I really still cannot believe where I saw it. It would be a straight forward clutch but the wraps scrunch it up and kicks up the corners giving it a whole new shape. I don't even mind the hardware, I rather like the rings. There is a flap that is held with magnets as well as the strap, which I agree could get annoying but for the look, I'll deal with the hassle. At Ferragamo boutiques for $2600.

  • hey hey now--
I remember in college we both had the stupid grosgrain ribbons on our Ferragamo platform shoes, Ferragamo head bands... and cardigans. LOL

  • oh, please post photos of that! Would love to see the two of you in college decked out in Ferragamo!

  • I like this one, but in some other color ! I have seen some gorgeous SF bags this year.

    • This also comes in orange which is ok except that it's the old lady orange that Ferragamo always does. More like pumpkin but not vibrant and young.

And yes, it's true. I owned a lot of Ferragamo. But come on now, who is not tired of all those bows?? =) Ughh, those cardigans were bad. But I'll hang on to them though, they will be useful when I'm 70.

  • It funny because I pass the SF boutique and my way to work and have been admiring this clutch (in white) for a while now, but never came in to see how much it was. Thanks for featuring it. Needless to say it also comes in white.

  • Usually the bags in the ferragamo window scare me! This is cute tho

  • I think I'd like this in white. The green doesn't do it for me and the orange, like Kelly said, sounds old ladyish

  • Hi there,
, I liked! So clear and positively.
    Have a nice day
