Everyone is looking for the one perfect all around bag these days. I will be the first to admit that it is damn hard to choose just ONE! Well, the criteria for "the one" has to be classic, a neutral color, functional shape that can be used everyday but still stylist as ever. As impossible as all this might seem, this Christian Louboutin Marianna hobo is that one, or one of the ones, it might not be for everyone. But you have to admit, although this is your average hobo, it's got some nice details, like the triple chain strap, the outer zipper with cool bold zipper pull and of course the signature red interior. The chains are all stuck together so it won't be a headache wrangling with them but it also helps it stay put. Louboutin's bag collection has definitely found its stride and has the same philosophy behind the shoes, no trends - just beautiful classic pieces. At Saks Fifth Avenue for $1595.
The chain looks neat and I like the idea of using the red in the inside as well as in shoes, on the bottom. There is nothing special here, the same shape has been seen so many times before. The price is not surprising.

No offense, but no trends? Louboutin comes out with a fashion collection every season that are totally trendy! I agree that his classic collection is just that, but definitely not many of the seasonal ones. I do like the bag. I wish they could figure out a way to have chain straps that wouldn't burn because I think adding leather would ruin the look.
Yes, Louboutin shoes are quite "trendy" as in everyone has them and loves them and the look has become one that everyone follows. BUT, according to Monsieur Louboutin, he does not follow trends or considers his collections to be "trendy".
BORING, yawn...I like neutrals as much as the next person, but this bag has no wow factor. Nowadays with everyone trying to wisely choose their splurges, I definetly go for the wow factor.

I happen to really really really like this bag. I would definitely consider it for a staple bag, and snap it up in a second if I found a good deal on it. I just can't bring myself to pay full price for anything these days.(Hm not that I ever really did, my mother is a queen of designer bargains, my sister right there as well. We have a fabulous Dad who encourages my Mom to get nice things for herself especially if its a good deal)
