You can not go wrong with a Balenciaga staple, the Flap bag. Especially one in a punch of bright color for summer! Only Balenciaga can make pink and orange look so cool and chic. It just has that I don’t give a F*%^ about trends and will set my own look about it. Made of soft vintage crafted lambskin and aged brass hardware, the flap front bag is 11″ X 5″ X 8″.
I love the distressed pink version, it’s very punk rock barbie– one who doesn’t sit around waiting for Ken, she makes her own parties! If you’re not into the colorful versions, there is a pale metallic gold, silver, black and of course basic brown. The price is also really great for a Balenciaga made in Italy– $995.00! I love Balenciaga but these bags are a little lackluster for my personal taste. Tough to beat the motorcycle or any of their fabulous clutches!
I agree with Poppy – I also prefer the Motorcycle & the clutches to this one – think it’s a bit boring.

It looks like a nice ‘practical’ bag. I like the tough biker barbie look. Such a contrast to the Barbie image.
