Madonna has my favorite Louis Vuitton bag of recent years, the slouchy chic Mahina. The shape is modern and casual and it manages to showcase the iconic (if over exposed) logo in a subtle manner. This is the XL size ($3,360 and almost 30" wide!), way too big for me and for a person who is recovering from a recent horse injury. But then again, she's grinding the ax at the gym already, what's a heavy bag!?!? I personally like the L size ($2,740), it's still very large at 18" but it folds and drapes into itself, appearing much smaller. She does look a bit off though, her coloring is very pale and she is missing that Madonna sparkle. Maybe she should take more time and rest from her injury. She does look pale. She is 50 years old. No amount of plastic surgery can make her body actually younger, and the way the body bounces back from injuries and stress. She is beginning to seem a little desperate, which is never attractive.I appreciate her workout ethic, but the body is still over 50.
I agree, one should embrace their current age no matter the number. Because tomorrow we will be older and wishing for yesterday. So love yourself today and don't fight it! Make it work.
Desperate, Sherry?!!?!? to say the least!!! Yes, her 22 yr old boytoy Jesus is way hot, but man does that make her look desperate, sad, and attempting to cling onto a youth that passed her by LONG ago.
As for this bag, I love it. There is even a bigger size, the XXL. I can see myself using that size in black as a gym bag. I'm going to seriously consider it.

I need the biggest bags possible, mette!!!...from the moment I walk out the door in the morning at 6 am til i get back at 7 pm, everything needs to be with me - the gym clothes, the daily planner, the address book, sweats in cooler months, the wallet, the cell phone, the check book, the moisturizer, the hand sanitizer, the breath mints, the advil... everything to get me thru the day...and I want to do it in style, not with a black nylon bag...BORING!!! =)
I heard she does not eat and only takes vitamin injections. She looks like a wax figure.
The bag, however, is fabulous. The best one from LV in a very long time. The XS has a weird shape.
Exercise, at any age, is a good idea. She exercises to stay in shape for her extremely strenuous concerts; to continue to be able to wear clothing and stay as a fashion icon; (in bag snob!) and perhaps to keep up with her younger boyfriends, A Rod and Jesus (do I detect a small bit of jealousy, Manbag?)
She is still fab, she is...well, Madonna!
I was actually thinking the opposite. To me she looks younger than her usual haggard and deliberate self.
While I admire her work-out ethic, I feel she doesn't know how to dress her body. Some of her choices make her look like a linebacker and her posture needs work too. JMO.
I do love the bag though. Something I would consider buying.
