We have not been very kind to Louboutin bags though we LOVE his shoes. We felt he should stick to what he knows best but who are we to limit and judge one's creative juices? Apparently he is out to prove he is just as fierce at designing bags as he is at shoes and his latest effort, the Softy in gray, rouge, and marine calfskin, show great promise (though he really needs to ditch that hanging medallion). For Pre-Fall, Louboutin Softy bag goes structural with a soft twist and I really like it. The frame stops at the top of the bag, giving it a nice shape and appearance of a formal clasp but is really held close by easy access magnetic closure.  The hardware doesn't continue on to the shoulder straps so you can carry it on your shoulder or arm comfortably yet it doesn't lose its rounded appeal.  The pleating works perfectly with the hardware and the shape is timeless and beautifully crafted.  It's the Ladies who lunch bag with a modern hobo twist as you'll be able to take it to shopping or drinks after lunch.  I attended the Pre-Fall trunk show and let me tell you these bags in person are even better than the photos!  I LOVE the Gray and Marine color for Fall, both shades are so seductive while the Rouge is just fiery hot!
