I am like schizophrenic when it comes to Prada but I am not the one to blame. Like, what is happening with this bag? The giant drawstring straps are super distracting and it doesn't even match the color of the bag. First of all, drawstring are good for pajamas, bad for bags. But apparently I am totally alone. I wasn't even going to touch on this bag but this is the best selling Prada bag this season!!??! So, I am putting it out there out of sheer confusion. I better keep my day job and give up any inclination of being a buyer because I would pass on all the "best sellers". What could possibly be so appealing? In this shopping climate, designers have to really put their best foot forward and come up with some damn good stuff! But this? I just don't get it. At Saks Fifth Avenue for $1450.
The bag looks like it would be just fine without those strange bow/ribbon/whatever they are made of drawstrings. Too bad. Maybe just some small leather tassels?

Someone must be lying to you. The drawstring on this bag reminds me of the drawstring on my garbage bags.
For whatever reason when I look at this bag it makes me think of Little Bo Peep. Must be the ridiculously long bows.
Kelly, I am so glad you mentioned putting a best foot forward because that is exactly what Prada seems to refuse to do. Season after season the brand has produced gorgeous bags, but lately they have been awful. I do not know who would buy this bag because it is that ugly. Whoever thought of the idea at Prada for big bows with drawstring and strange shapes and prints must be fired.
Maybe Prada wants the world record for most expensive garbage bags.

This bag is "ugly cute"...it's a little bit ugly but a little bit cute. I think it would be cuter if the bows were a different color..maybe hot pink..or even if they were just black..

I have to agree with you on this..it's a horribly ugly bag. I don't believe this is a best seller..probably just something from prada's PR dept or some bs the SA is spouting. This is truly awful!
oh my god, are the bows made out of leather? i couldn't tell, even zooming in on the site. limp, crinkly, tan leather bows... that is just the stuff of nightmares. it's like its guts are coming out through the drawstring holes. sorry, i'm grossing myself out now.

This bag has real originality, is essential, the brown leather ribbons are so simple, there is no useless decor, the leather is particular and very soft. And the bag is so light like a feather. This bag is unique.
Prada is too original and creative to please to anyone. Prada is a special designer for special people. Chloé, Dior, Vuitton are all the same, for people who wants what other people has. That's the difference !
Ya like Prada at least it is not so common looking like other brands.

I saw this bag in person.the bows are too large. I did like the leather. I do like the black tote made from the same leather.. No bows. Just a drawstring. A nice casual look.
The bag itself isn't bad, but those bows DEFINITELY have to go!
The bow is hand tied so each piece is different. This one just look ugly with the brown bow which is loosely tied and way too long. Others are quite nice looking especially the full black tote.
It's a cute casual bag. Black bows would look better.
Boring and expensive...this also comes in snakeskin printed nylon with leather bows, now THAT is truly hideous!

I totally agreed with giorge.. Prade has real originality! I've seen the bag in real in whole black which is simple chic and elegant without all those unnecessary accesories. The leather is soft and the bow just sit nicely at both sides. The picture just doesn't do any justice to the bag! Would advice those who said it ugly to take a close look at the real bag. The bag is light, roomy and versatile where it can be both handheld and shoulder carry. Find this bag unique and not resemblance of others which you may find them all look alike! The bag is indeed selling well in my country and i need to wait for 2nd shipment to arrive.
Honestly before i decided to make a purchase on this bag (in total black), i brought all my friends to see it and everyone said nice so it can't be that bad in real right? :) All i would say is the picture looks horrible but the real stuff is nice! so just don simply make a comment based on picture!
