The Peek-a-boo satchel made another appearance on Fendi‘s Fall 2009 runway in Milan yesterday along with several new uninspired clutches including what appears to be a skunk roadkill. This saddens me… I was hopeful after seeing the peek-a-boo bags from last season and thought they’d make more fabulous bag but judging from the atrocities on the runway… it looks like business as usual at Fendi.

I used to be a fan of Fendi, back when the Spy bag was the “It” bag of the season and the “B” bag was coming out, but lately their bags have been such heinous atrocities, that I no longer like their collections. Karl Lagerfeld and his team of designers really need to create some new simple, but chic bags that would complement anyone’s wardrobe, as I think the main problem is that all of their bags are so ugly because they are so overembellished and overdesigned. I completely agree with Bag Snob Tina’s opinions on Fendi’s new bags, as usual!
Ladys…I just think that you tooo old for FENDI. I love their bags ,they are totally differnt than any other brands,and i think they are fun!…and remmember is NOT “what is it…IS who wear it”….
I agree with Patricia, Fendi bags are jewels!
