Whew! I am still catching up from Fashion Week and then coming home to another whole host of more events. I am finally settling down to cover all the bag showrooms we visited while in New York. We were able to preview the Fall 2009 Nancy Gonzalez collection and although we were told to hold off on showing everything, this one bag I can not keep under wraps! It is just too fab and we were also the first editors to visit so as always, we like to have the scoop on anything amazing. Nancy Gonzalez does edge the only way she knows how - classic and hardware free. The grommets are covered with croc and the front and back panels are python while the side gussets are crocodile. This liquid gray finish and color is so divine I was dying to get one in my hands immediately!! There are 3 compartments, the front and back python panels are large slide in pockets the entire width of the bag, and the center opens generously to a compartment full of the essential pockets and zips. The price will be $3100, most likely will be available at Bergdorf Goodman but buyers haven't even seen this bag yet! And look at the tiger print behind it, it is the same bag but in printed pony hair. There is a belt like that that I have to have!!
OMG!!!! I AM IN LOVE! I passed on a gorgeous lavender croc bag of hers that was so incredibly soft last weekend, but this!?!?!? THIS IS GORGEOUS! I have to have, thank you KELLY!!

This is how retro, chic, and classic can be pulled off. Only she could do this and have it look amazing. Cannot wait to grab one.
I adore it! It's incredibly classy and elegant, but the pyramid studs add a cool, '80s punk rock feel that's subtle but funky!
I LOVE IT!!! I really love the whole studded thing, but it's hard to find pieces that don't go overboard on it. I love the balance that Nancy Gonzales struck with this one. It's got edge, but will also definitely stand the test of time. And that python looks soooo soft and lovely!

You girls always get me in trouble. First with the Goya from Oscar de la Renta and now with this one. This has got to be one of the bags on my Fall/2009 list. I just bought the Nancy Gonzales Croc and python bag featured at Saks.com which I can't stop looking at. I had a big fight with my husband, so I had to go out and buy a bag.
Whenever I go the dentist for a root canal, have a mammography, or on the rare occasion have a fight with my husband, only a luxe handbag can make me feel better. Some people go on an eating binge. I have to have a new handbag.
Oh well, anything that makes us feel this good can't be that bad can it?
I am laughing because I justify my bag purchases the same way. I need a dental implant this spring, at least I will be getting lots of new bags and shoes. Hehe

I must be the only one not liking this bag at all. The mix of lizards is disturbing and the color is quite plain.
