We love attending presentations, especially presentations
with bubbly!
Mulberry presented hands down the most chic presentation of Fashion Week. They took over the Library at the SoHo house and transformed it into Snow White's dark forest, complete with apples and sequined bugs! There were half a dozen velvet chairs and love seats around the room which meant full capacity was around 15 people per show (they had several showings that day). It made for a very intimate setting and of course allowed us a clear view of its retro chic ready to wear collection and latest bags. I had no idea Mulberry made such amazingly stylish jackets and dresses. I almost lost sight of why I was there-- to report on the bags! While the Bayswater showed up in different incarnations (as a clutch, elongated, and in funky prints) it was the hobos in luxe leathers and ostrich skin that caught our attention. We also marveled at the large selection of Man Bags-- finally our Man Snobs will have a brand to covet!

Kelly and I enjoying a glass of bubbly (Kir Royal) while we wait for the presentation to commence.

Enormous sequined bugs were littered around the room, on the walls and tables. The mood was very relaxed and I felt like I was at a lounge enjoying a cocktail. The Brits really know how to throw a party!
Classy venue with classy bags.
What a nice way to enjoy a fashion show
What dress are you wearing, Tina? I love it!
mulberry bags are in dire need of fresh air
Enough of the bayswater
Hi Tina
I'm thinking to purchase the Mulberry Ostrich Bayswater in Yellow colour. What do you think? Is yellow a bit too seasonal ? Or should I take the blue colour instead?
Thx in advance
Anne
Hi Anne,
Depending on your coloring, are you a fair skinned blonde? Yellow would be beautiful on you!
Blue of course is timeless... if it were me I'd take blue.
Let me know what you end up getting! xo
Ladies-you both look lovely. Tina is your dress Alexander Mcqueen?
Hi Lori
My dress is Vivienne Westwood! It's so fun to wear, I belt it into a mini or leave it loose and funky. I wrote about it on Couturesnob a couple of months ago-- here

it is very fit for the young ladies
