I am finally home after a weeklong jammed packed schedule in NYC. As always, we barely have time for all the shows let alone get our work done– mental note to self, must bring assistant in future. Anyhoo, the question I am asked most is my favorite fashion show of the week. There were more than a few and it’s so difficult to choose but top of the list is definitely Michael Kors. His clothes are just so effortless and easy to wear. I’ll have the review of Fall 2009 bags up this weekend but for now, check out our Ready to wear review at Couture Snob!

I’ve been to many of the shows at Bryant Park year after year, but I will agree with you that my ultimate favorite is always the Michael Kors show. I even attend his show when he repeats it twice yearly at Richard’s Department Store in Greenwich, Connecticut. That’s where I order my Michael Kors from.
He is so funny and nice in person. He always tells me which key pieces to order and of course, he’s right on the money. Year after year I add timeless dresses, jackets, skirts, etc. to my repetoire of clothing. I even own many of his furs (which I buy from Pologeorgis Furs in Manhattan,) handbags, shoes, belts, etc. He is and will always be my favorite American designer…
I agree—-MK is just FABULOUS!!! I ADORE him!!
Tina—If you need an asst–I told ya!! I would be more then happy to take a load off you hands!!! =)

Mr. Michael Kors’ designs for ready -to-wear are right on the mark as usual. Although a ready-to-wear- line , the clothes do not look like a cheap knockoff of haute couture and the fabrics and colors enhance the wearer and not the the designer. Thank you, Michael Kors!
