Before you dismiss this bag-- let me just tell you it is as chic as a slouchy and disheveled tote can be without looking sloppy. Halston hits the mark with every element of this urban cool hobo bag that makes me miss my glamour grunge college days in the 90s (you know, girls like me who wore $300 Marc Jacobs plaid shirts and thought we were slumming). They call this oversized but it's only 11"wx13"h so it's a manageable size for all, even the height challenged. The broad and flat single strap will sit on the shoulder without slipping and the taupe color will of course go with just about anything and everything (especially all the bright colors for spring). Zipped interior compartment plus an interior key loop because the designer knows how annoyed we get when digging in deep bags for our keys. Wow, I just realized this is the third taupe colored bag I'm coveting this season! I am really out there with my bright colored clothes for spring, which is probably why I'm attracted to the muted shades of taupe-- I need a neutral complement for my wardrobe. Like the size, kinda bored with the rest. I know it's supposed to be plain and simple but something is just amiss, and I do like simple bags. This bag does not look expensive in the pictures, maybe it will be in person; I hope. With the lack of all the elements that make a bag smashing, I see no point in paying $1.8k for this yawner. I'll take all my words back if this bag turns out to be softer than cashmere in a vat of butter.
Tina, I'm sorry but this bag is making me yawn. It's way too boring. The color is the only nice thing going for it. It is a perfect neutral, but I'm sure there are other bags out there in that color that have more pizazz...
I'm not a big fan of this one either. It's simple enough, but I find that bags with those types of handles are difficult to carry for long. Definitely too expensive as well.
I have to agree--this bag isn't worth the price. I find bags with handles like that rather difficult to carry.
I like this bag! It is so understated in its simplicity that it actually has snob appeal. The vibe it gives me: "I don't care what you think, i'm filthy rich and this bag is luxurious one piece leather!!!" The one solid handle thing plus a key loop are a nice touch.

looks like a little nicer version of the Bird rotten tie top piece of junk
Too much money. No personality
This bag is a wonderful shape but it reminds me of an elephant.
