I feel like I've been too serious lately, especially with the recent Geo-political debate and all the talk about the deeply depressed state of our economy etc etc. So, it's time to lighten up and love a bag purely for frivolous fun. Even if you (or I) are not going to buy it; we can still admire, appreciate, and adore can't we? So for my frivolous bag of the week, I'm going with the Lanvin Happy Partage in bubble gum barbie pink. As the owner of several pink bags, I can safely tell you that they are not that practical. Other than summer or when I'm in Miami or LA, I don't use them! Yet I still covet every pink bag ever made, my pink obsession is almost some sort of bizarre genetic disorder. It's been a while since I've loved on Lanvin-- I got so bored with the bags of last season! Not that this is anything to write home about but at least it doesn't look like it's going to fall apart and the color is bright and cheery. I am on the fence about the fringe; it's a good way to look current but I am glad it's removable because if I had to walk around with that thing slapping me on the shoulder, back or hip, I'll go nuts. As with most Lanvin bags, the leather is cushy and soft with lightweight chains plus a back zipped compartment-- think of it as Chanel for Malibu Barbie, 11"x9". $1,760, find it here.

This bag is so lovely, if I have it, I'll like a princess.
This is soo cute! Although I am at 'that certain age' and could not pull this off(mutton dressed as Lamb), I have a daughter with a birthday coming and I would love to send it to her in Iraq-she'll be styling!
Love the color! It's my fav, not to keen on the style, but hey it's pink.
