The Stephanie Day bag from DVF is funky and interesting; the texture and woven leather resemble that of Japanese paper but is actually different shades of metallic leather. I was told it is a big hit with stars such as Kate Bosworth, Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez who have all special requested it. We asked DVF what the inspiration was behind this boho chic hobo bag and she said, “Rock Goddess”! Like the diva herself, the Stephanie is totally bohemian and slouchy, but ultra luxurious. Finally, someone gets hippie luxe right! And she got the price right, too. $1,100 for the large size, very reasonable for a bag with intricately woven leather work.
