Tory Burch is inspired by Truman Capote's Black and White Ball. The ball was held in the Grand Ballroom of New York City's Plaza Hotel in 1966. It was considered the social event of the season and the guest list included several glamorous women of the time including; Marella Agnelli, Babe Paley, Candice Bergen, Lee Radziwill and Mia Farrow. The collection was also inspired by Tory's childhood in Valley Forge where she used to love watching her mother and father get dressed for an evening out. The classic black, white and grey palette is accented with pops of fuchsia.

I swear when I first looked at this clutch there was a silver metallic version available as well as the purple metallic. But now the only option left is the purple metallic, which of course, me being me, I love. So I have a slight obsession. But this clutch, this sexy option from Prada, has my heart palpitating.
