This has to be the most fun interview I have ever filmed. Michael Kors is the consummate professional and went along with all my silliness! We had so much fun dishing, shopping and later lunching (all caught on tape!) that it was hard to cut it all down to only 8 minutes of video.
A big thank you to Neiman Marcus for allowing us to film during store hours. I have to say, Neiman Marcus and Michael Kors know how to throw a luncheon. Two days before our lunch, an orchid and handwritten note from Michael was delivered to my home, very nice touch! Of course Joan Kors, Michael’s mother, was on hand and I believe she is the reason he is so accommodating and nice (I aim to properly train my own son!). I love that he loves Maldives! When I visited Sri Lanka, I met some families who owned a few of the islands. Several of the islands are Korean-owned (I’m half-Korean). Maldives has to be one of the most stunning vacation spots I’ve ever seen.

Phenomenal webisode. Michael Kors is fantastic, loved seeing him up-close-and-personal. And Tina, I must admit to living vicariously through you on this one. I must also second that G Lorenzi is one of the best stores in the world – Love this store. My husband and I were true addicts when we lived in Milan – we bought our steak knives there and indulged in all things imagined – antique tortoise pocket grooming knife, pocket knives et al. MK’s comment about it hosting all things one doesn’t need… So true! To this day I still think about all the cool scissors they have there – go figure.
