Michael Kors Jeweled Clutch

I hate having to rag on one of my favorite designers but I know he will understand. Afterall, he told me if one can learn to take criticism, one can learn a lot from it. I want you to stare at this clutch for a minute... now close your eyes. Are amoebas crawling around in technicolor? I actually love the multicolored python, it's cheery and perfect for resort but those jewels on there look like bugs and give me goosebumps. They also look like an afterthought, the design team should have left the clutch alone. Sorry Michael, I love you but this isn't doing it for me. I love it actually. maybe it would have been a little better (or a lot...) without the embellishments, but totally loving colorful snakeskin right now. gorgeous!

I adore Michael Kors but have to agree with Tina on this one. Sometimes you just gotta leave well enough alone. the blue toned python is fabulous and didn't need any more bling on it.

I have to agree with you on This Tina- this bag is yucky - I have a questions- Chanel Classic Flap JUMBO - would you buy the BLACK or GREY? I love the dove grey but I am wondering if BLACK is better for forever? I already have the medium size black in caviar and another Chanel expandable in black smooth leather with silver hardware...so I just don't know...more black or grey??? also do you know if ANY Chanel bags went on sale at Saks 70% off sale?

  I thought on Purse Forum that Saks had some of the seasonal bags on sale. but on your other question, I say Grey! If you already have two black Chanel's why not get that grey? It is gorgeous!

I also love this bag, and would love it equally if the jewels were limited to a small top row of them. I guess I just give Michael kudos for creating something unique. He took a trend and made it even hotter!

gillian, I would go for the grey, it has a sophisticated modern appeal, then you dont end up with two black chanel bags, too. No I did not see anything about the SaKs sale. I would LOVE to know tho.
