Marc Jacobs Rad Bag

Sometimes a bright little purple satin clutch is just what the bag doctor ordered to perk up your winter wardrobe. I am addicted to purple, it is such a great color on everyone (and it's my 4 year old's favorite so he's very happy when I wear it!). This is a really gorgeous shade of purple, too and even the logo on the clasp is barely discernible. I could do without the straps (it looks like it can be tucked in or removed altogether-- my recommendation) but all in all, a nice holiday satin clutch to wear with a multitude of colors! Clash it with red, compliment pink, brighten cream or contrast with black-- it is more versatile than you realize. Ever since I watched a sober and coherent MJ on the Rachel Zoe Project doling out sage advice to Rachel while eating a rather large meal, I have new found respect for him (not just for setting a good example by eating but for the insightful things he said to her). Not that I will ever love any of those atrocities he did for LV in the past but at least he's making bags that are cute and fun at a reasonable price. This clutch is $595 and it's not from the Marc line either, it's from the Marc Jacobs Paris-New York collection. Marc Jacobs Satin Rad Bag at Net-a-porter.com

  • I love purple, too. It's such a regal color. This is a bluish purple which makes it more sophisticated. Price is great too!

  • i saw the title of this and though "uh oh" ... but it's cute!

  • Tina, I know the episode you're talking about. I loved his convo with Rachel Zoe! :) And it looks like he can throw a good party.

  • I can't believe it. He really just had to rip off Lanvin? That's a Lanvin clutch right there, without the hideous, out of place strap.

  • Tina, this clutch look almost the same as a Versace clutch from this past season. But the price is better. Ping
