I am going to have to ebay all of my Bottega Veneta bags if they keep doing these outrageously ridiculous bags. Their stock is seriously tanking in my portfolio. Are these gags? Is there some inside joke going on? How could they go from flawless classics to this? A tote polka dotted with multi-colored toggles as if for a traveling clown? You would think colorful dots would be cute but somehow this isn't even good enough for a toddler. I don't get it. I am going to investigate what is going on inside the design studios over there. It's not that I have to love everything they make, some bags are just not for me but this just shows poor taste and lack of creativity. You can't just slap on the signature woven handles and call it a day. At Net a Porter for $1850.

This is a great bag! I recently bought one for myself and I have been getting compliments every time I wear it out. Highly recommended for the discerning bag shopper.
I was just about to say, do they have a new creative director? This style is so uncharacteristic of their usual sophisticated, classic look. Even the colors are totally out of their usual palette.
Without the color bumps, I actually would like the bag just in white.

i've said it before and i'll say it again: someone in the BV design team is going to get fired, probably the accessories creative director. this is the third bag out of the current collection that is seriously hideous! not cool; not cool at all.
I think this bag is quirky...I don't like it but I equally don't hate it an can sort of understand the appeal!
I do think that any minute those coloured pip will start flashing like the fairy lights on the christmas tree?! =)

I actually kind of like it. Not as sophisticated as their usual woven bags certainly, but it has a touch of whimsy that I like. Probably not appropriate for anyone over the age of 25 to carry though.
Maybe it's better in person, but my first thought was that it had some kind of skin disease.
Awful and looks like a cheap Coach bag. My fabric Ralph Lauren gymshoe bag with multicolored ponies is nicer and only cost me $75! Not ironic nor quirky either. BV better buck up or else some of us will look elsewhere. I've seen much nicer bags in Target, seriously!!
This definitely does NOT reflect the past elegant bags that BV has done! It may not be so bad if the price is $100!
It has the mumps! Is there a vaccine for that bag? Just kidding. While BV is my bag of choice, this one is a miss for me. Kelly, you have to post some of the other resort pieces, they are to die for.
I am 19 yeats old and I love this bag. All of my friends want it. Most of the chicks on here are my mommy's age and of course she wouldn't like it. But I thinks its way cool.
