Christiane Amanpour, Chief International Correspondent, CNN ;Jennifer Lopez, Actress, Singer, and Entrepreneur; Maria Shriver, First Lady of California

UPDATE:  I had planned to do live blogging from the conference (I am actually sitting here right now listening to the speakers) but I realize that there is no way I can give each speaker justice without digesting all the inspirational stories I’ve heard.  The only thing that keeps going through my mind is, God, it is good to be a woman today!  Indra Nooyi, the CEO of Pepci Co. said that the people keeping us from breaking the glass ceiling is not men, it is other women.  Isn’t that true?  We need to stick together, share our stories, share our compassion and power to finally break the glass ceiling and sweep all that debris clean away.

I will go home tonight and put thought to what I am taking away from this conference.  It has nothing to do with fashion, but like I said, we women have to stick together and find empowerment wherever we can.  Stay tuned for my full story tomorrow.

I will be attending the Women’s Conference in Long Beach tomorrow

and will live blog from there. The list of speakers is impressive and I

am looking forward to hearing what these successful and empowering

women have to say. The ones I pictured are the ones I am most

interested in and you can see it is quite a range. You can see the

entire list of all the speakers at the Women’s Conference website.

It is so important for women to take advantage of the revolution that

we’re currently a part of. I hope to share some interesting topics with

you so stay tuned!

I wholeheartedly agree. I was up for a promotion 1 1/2 yrs ago and didn’t get it based on (wait for it) GOSSIP by (you guessed it) OTHER WOMEN. Needless to say, I swiftly left that department and have received RAVE reviews (again) about my performance and work ethic.

I would have loved to have heard Christiane Amanpour speak. I’m looking forward to a recap Kelly!!

  5. It was great meeting you! I was up to 2:30 a.m. uploading my videos and photos from the conference
