Usually when I do a story for the Frugal Snob, it is with a bit of reservation and compromise. However, I saw this bag and loved it without looking at the price first, the color, the functional style with the touch of detailing and intrigue (well, I saw the label so I know it is under $500 but still). The pleating I find interesting because it is more folds than actual pleating, which is different and modern. The textured leather is another subtle detail that really adds to the overall interest, and although it is plain ole brown, it is on the grayer side of brown and not too chocolaty, which as we know can look a bit like poo. The handles are double structured sewn leather so it is soft and comfortable on the arm or shoulder (it is a 7″ drop which does not work as a shoulder bag for everyone) and has a magnetic closure. A great overall bag that is the perfect size for day at 16″ x 19″,

Kelly, I love this bag. I think I have plenty of brown bags, but for some reason I can’t resist when I see another one that I like. Good find. It’s silly to pay over 1000 bucks for another brown bag when this one exists.
I Like the shape and the color of this bag, looks like a good everyday bag….how about the handles? how comfy would they be on your shoulders?? they look hard/stiff…
The leather also looks quite thin which would be lightweight but would it hold up if such a big bag gets stuffed and filled with heavy stuff?
The handles look stiff in the picture but it is double sided leather sewn together so it is in fact soft. As for the durability, the textured leather makes it more durable and the construction seems sound but will it last years of abuse? I doubt it but by then you’ve got your money’s worth!

It needs a bit more detailing (grommets, chains, sparkle?) for me. At $448 I find it a bit boring… and it’s too boo-boo brown.
i would love this in another color. i wear a lot of black, grey, and blues so i can never really make brown accessories work :/
