A good friend of mine works for AIDS Project Los Angeles and reminded me that the AIDS walk is this Sunday October 19th. I used to do this walk every year and I feel bad that I no longer do (too many excuses but none are acceptable!) but it was always so much fun!! It is always star studded, I chose this photo because I am not ashamed to admit that I love Grey's Anatomy! It is not too late to participate or to donate to the organization by going to the AIDS Walk website. Some info about the event and what they do:
WHO: 30,000 people, including a roster of celebrity hosts, will flood the streets of West Hollywood and Los Angeles to raise millions for the fight against AIDS.
WHERE: The AIDS Walk begins and ends in the heart of West Hollywood at San Vicente Boulevard, between Melrose Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard. The 10k (6.2 mile) route traverses the streets of both West Hollywood and Los Angeles.
WHY: The event coincides with recent announcements that the number of people living with HIV in the U.S. has hit an all-time high; the number of new infections nationwide is 40 percent higher than previously reported; and more people than ever before (60,000) are living with the disease in Los Angeles County.
It's the largest AIDS fundraiser in Southern California (almost $4 million was raised in 2007!). This year's event is also one of the greenest of its kind, as the Green Walker aims to cut the event's environmental impact by a full 25 percent.

OMG~~K, I LOVE Grey's A. (my fav!) just watched it tonight!
I participate in a lot of these charitable walk's, when my kids were smaller I would put them in the jogger and take them with!
