Bag Snob Events - Save the Dates!

dvfinvite.jpgI will begin a coast to coast trip starting on Sept 7th to Fashion Week in NYC.  I then fly to LA on Sept 11th to host a party with Diane von Furstenberg for my friend Tatiana Boncompagni's new book launch.  Vogue is her sponsor and other hosts include Emmy Rossum, Tinsley Mortimer, Gigi Howard and Kimberly Schlegel Whitman.  I am not looking forward to all the flying but can't wait for our events.  Here is the scoop as featured in Fashionweekdaily.com yesterday.

If you are in New York, please join us at Tahari on Sept 10th.  Stop by the Diane von Furstenberg boutique on Melrose Place September 11th from 7-9pm if you live in LA.  I will also be hosting a series of Bags and Bubbly parties at Ralph Lauren- who is donating 15% of the entire day's sales to our charities (Sept 18th), Oscar de la Renta (October 14th) and Neiman Marcus (October 15th) to benefit the charities we support.  Will keep you posted so you can join in the fun!

  • Tina....the book sounds fabulous, I hope to pop over to one of your events...possibly the ODLR Dallas one or New York! One day do you think you may organise a Bagsnob event in the UK surely you have enought followers over here!?

Question: Mindy has told me about the Goya in Caribean Blue...have you seen it? I am unsure as to purchase the classic grey or go for a show stopping Blue?! Any tips! The coral is gorgeous too but that is just a patent leather not the gorgeous stingray!

  • Lottie,
The grey is a show stopper and must have! It will last much longer than the blue-- unless you can do both, which is what I plan to do :)

Please pop over to the Dallas party on 10/14, would love to have you!

In any case, wait for our events to purchase to ensure the donation to our charities!

The Ralph Lauren event will be amazing, too. As you know, it's much cheaper to purchase RL in the States than Europe.

As for bag snob events in London, we actually have just as many European readers as US if not more. We're now planning an Asian tour of events.

  • Tina....thank you for the advice, I am possibly going to try for both as the decision seems to hard!! =)

If I await your event will both bags still be available or may I miss out....possibly should speak to Mindy on this one!

    Have a great wkend!

  • Oh i will not miss the oscar party this time. thank you for the invitations!

so generous of ralph lauren to give your charities 15% of the day's sales! shows your power in the industry and how nice that you are using it to benefit others.
