YSL Muse Clutch in Gold Tone Zippers

$1,995 at YSL Boutiques- Call Fatima- 310-271-4110

Perhaps you are like me, sick of looking at the same ol’ same ol’… or perhaps you are new at bag collecting, and everything is new and exciting. Whatever your position, I am certain you will find this clutch fascinating. YSL has proven itself to be the best in bags yet again. While every other line is scrambling to define itself, YSL is just…. YSL. Who would have thought gold tone zippers could look so elegant, chic, and ladylike? It’s one thing to have soft satin ruffles liven up a simple black clutch, but it’s another altogether to trim it in punk rock zippers. I’ve always been a walking contradiction. All at once a rebellious child who breaks rules unapologetically and a woman who appreciates the timeless elegance of a classic. This bag fulfills all facets of me. It will work with my jeans and t-shirt or with my Oscar de la Renta cocktail dresses. Isn’t that what we all look for? Something that goes with everything? At YSL Boutiques worldwide. $1,995 or Call Fatima at the Beverly Hills location 310-271-4110

What a gorgeous and interesting bag. You’re right it will go with everything, great for early evening. The only thing I’m worried about is the zippers catching on to your clothing. That might be a problem with softer fabrics.

It has that quality that the French refer to as “chien.” Very nice.

    Hello darlings,

I saw this in the new YSL look book and immediately emailed my YSL PR contact. I have not seen it in person but I am sure it will be fabulous. I am not so worried about it catching on clothes because I will carry it in my hand and not under my arm like a football. :)

Can’t wait for this to hit the stores! xoxo

Am I the only on that thought the ruffles look a bit overdone? And I didn’t realize it was zippers but when I see that I’m even more worried that it would look silly.

Definitely something that I would need to see in person. Tina et al. let me know if it lives up to your expectations when you do see it.

this sounds silly, but i’d like it more if it had that same affect without actually being zippers.

Lovely! I wonder what the dimensions are. If that closure is the same size it is on the Muse bags that clutch is quite small. Though I suppose if you’re going to cover something in zippers small is probably the best idea.

kamo – that’s not silly at all, I was thinking the same thing. I do like it though!

I didn’t recognize the zippers. Wow! Just goes to show, people can recycle and be creative while recycling. Lovely bag, and definitely a conversation piece for every party/event.

WOW,WOW. YSL did it again. Needless to repeat that I am truely a YSL fan. They are the best and you can buy a bag only by seeing a picture of it and when you open your parcel, the real bag is even greater. All my bags are YSL ,all but one which I regret buying. It is a Lanvin. Anyone interested?
