Meet The Snob Team!

user-pic

Our family has grown since we started in 2005 and you probably know them all by name and post now but we thought you should meet them, face to face. We would not be able to handle all that is involved with running our network of blogs without our girls (and boy!).

Tina Craig (left) and Kelly Cook, Owners and Founders

Veterans of the entertainment and fashion industries (Tina-- a former MTV Asia VJ and jewelry designer, Kelly-- former right-hand woman to designer Mark Eisen), the Bag Snobs have been collecting designer bags for over 20 years.  BFFs since meeting at USC, we immediately bonded over a shared passion for Prada bags.  Bagsnob.com was created as a way for us to converse about our obsession for bags; we blogged while our newborns napped and it kept us sane when they didn't.  Blogging was our entertainment and we had no idea that one day, thousands of women around the world would join in our conversation.

Richard Cook, CFO and Chief Tech Nerd (AKA Kelly's Hubby). Richard is a Software Engineer and is responsible for helping us get started, he trained us how to upload our entries (no easy task as we both have short attention spans) and he still maintains our site. He also pays our Bag Snob bills (with our money but neither Kelly or I can balance a checkbook to save our lives so we depend on Rich to tell us how much money we have to spend!) plus he keeps all the ads and artwork on our sites current. We don't pay him regularly but the privilege of being Kelly's husband is payment enough for him.

Sharon.jpg
Sharon Feiereisen, Writer. Sharon is 24, a graduate of Cornell University and lives in New York City. Sharon writes for all four of the Snob sites in addition to attending events on our behalf in NYC. When she's not blogging for the Snob sites, Sharon enjoys jetting to Paris, Morocco and other exotic locales.

bagsnobliza.jpg Liza Powel O'brien is a frequent contributing blogger on our sites. She has a MFA in fiction writing from Columbia and is totally over qualified for this job!  We have no idea why she agreed to guest blog but are grateful she graces us with her wit and fine writing.

kerri bagsnob.jpg Kerri Loughlin is our LA based assistant.  She brings with her years of administrative experience and we are hoping she will organize our chaotic workload!

me.jpg
Christy Nguyen is assigned the task of market research and will be assisting with social media networking for the Snob sites. She shows promise as a beauty writer being a total beauty snob herself. interntracy.jpg Tracy Rosenberg is our cute young intern who keeps us abreast of current trends.  We met her at STK one summer night in LA where she recognized us as the Bag Snobs.  Tracy is from NYC and is currently a sophomore at Univ of Wisconsin.

  • Nice to put a face to the name.

Anyways, any news on when Tina will be showing her Jose Eber makeover experience.

    Also, the LV factory tour.

Just curious, from reading your thread about your Paris/London trip, sounds like you bought $$$$$$$$ worth of purses, clothing etc, did you end up paying an arm and leg in duty as one bag would have probably maxed out the limit for your trip.

  • what an adorable team of girls (and one lucky guy!). Tina you look gorgeous and your skin is absolutely luminous what do you use on it?

  • Your team is a lovely group!!!

Just a thought, but perhaps in the future you guys can add a feature where it would enable us to show a small "icon pic" of ourselves next to our name when we make a comment?

    Love you guys!

  • You all look so beautiful! I love your blog and am happy to have found it.

  • HI Bagsnob!

just thought that you might want to guide your writers and readers to http://www.emphaticnyc.com for the hottest designer bags at prices so low that girls out there can't quite believe what they're seeing.

Some of their items are right off the runway. I've read on Stylehive and elsewhere that the girls at EmphaticNYC have the best contacts in NYC, and basically pass the deals they get on to the customers - which is why they have the lowest prices for the hottest items . . items other sites and stores can't even find, much less acquire. Emphatic stands by every item they sell, as they meticulously describe each item, guarantee its genuine-ness, and provide fantastic support. Check them out!

It is great to read up on what ladies like is USA, here in London it is slightly different. I would love to contribute by writing to you on a regular basis what is happening on the bag scene here. The best place to be is the school playground, and in London with one area in North London with over 30 schools in a 1.5 mile radius you would have a field day looking at the best and worst bags. I, of course am a major Bag Snob and that is probably one of my little vices in life. I love high street clothes but a bag is a non compromisable item that should never be overlooked in any stage of a womens life. I have seen the best dressed ladies of London fall completely down in my estimations by the bag they have. The best I have ever seen is one mother at school who tries sooo hard but always seems to get it just that little bit wrong. I call it the mobile phone syndrom. The phone is on and charged but has it has no chip inside. Her bags are her downfall and as much as she tries to socially climbe the bag always seems to let her down.

Maybe a little help from the bag snob should help her out.

  • Hey Snobs,

I Looooove the sight and i probably check it every day even if i cannot get to my computer. I work at the Bendels in Columbus Ohio, am obsessed with bags but nothing there really suits a guy. I am finishing up college and really really want a new bag for school but everything i want is out of my range. as with most mens fashion. I was wondering if you had any suggestions and also wanted to know how huge of a sin a replica black birkin 50 cm with palladium hardware would be!? Let me know your opinion!? Love the sight!

  • Hello, I wondered if you may know of the Burberry bag, style Estaple in black quilted leather. I am trying to establish if this is a genuine Burberry. It's advertised as a sample by Burberry. Any feedback or info would be much appreciated.

    Thanks
