On June 18th, the leading luxury auction site Portero.com will hold an invitation-only preview of Portero’s latest online event celebrating a curated collection of more than 100 highly desirable vintage Chanel bags. Hosted at the Antony Todd showroom in NYC and styled by the famed designer, the collection is a unique assortment of vintage, one-of-a kind and classic Chanel bags rarely available in one place.
Attendees will be able to place pre-auction bids on these limited edition bags and a “Buy Now” option will be available to these VIPs. The night could lead to an early “mid-summer night’s dream,” as auction winners can bring merchandise home with them that evening. Hosts Melanie Charlton Fascitelli, Emilia Fanjul-Pfeifler, Allison Sarofim, Nicole Hanley, Sabine Heller and Annie Churchill among others will interact with guests and Portero’s style experts, as they engage in their favorite online addiction.

How fabulous...I visited LA recently and went on a hunt in Vintage stores for a large Chanel bag like the one in the centre of the bottom picture, only to come home empty handed!! I am a youngish bagsnob and have been slowly adding to my collection a Hermes Kelly, (Birkin arriving in August)ODLR, Chanel but i am yet to own a vintage bag, do you have any advice on how to buy vintage and any hotspots, do auctions come around often?!
One finaly thing how likely am i to find the above bag of my dreams?!

Hmm... I have the gold flat and now silver... I find it so much harder to wear silver shoes for some reason. I love Chanel flap bags, just so classic and savvy.
