OK, so this is not the most subtle hint but what the hell, I am just trying to be practical and maybe help out those thoughtful and considerate husbands who read our site to get gift ideas for their lucky wives. Any one of these would be an AWESOME Mother's Day gift but all of them would be a dream come true. For a real surprise, the Hermes Lindy would do the trick. If you have been in the dog house, this will get you out. $5,600 Craig at Hermes, 214-528-0197. Any practical mom can use the Bottega Veneta Tri Compartment ($2780) and in pink, it is sure to delight! The Zagliani Puffy Python Satchel
($3100), has been on my list of must haves for a while now. The puffy shape makes it young and easy to wear everyday and the silicone injected python makes the skin luscious! For the bag and beauty snob, Smythson's Beauty Roll ($510) in Azure is not only beautiful but quite useful! All the mink and sable brushes are included. You are getting a deal here for this one. Be good to your mother's. Sure it's the thought that counts and a hug is the best gift in the world, but come on! This is the real world and we expect nice gifts!!! =)

yeah i totally want a lindy now. how long would i have to wait to get that?
Christy,
I was in Chicago three weeks ago and they had almost every color. Audra was the assistant who helped me, you could call her. She was very nice and helpful.
i'm not a mother, but i would like those too (:
Lindy seen to be the bag of the day. Many of my gal pals are looking into this new bag. I am thinking of getting the blue jean if I can get it after the Kelly pochette. As a future mother I figure I can buy on credit right... : )
The Hermes boutique told me the Lindy has been the most requested bag since Iit was posted on Bag Snob :)
It's the most fabulous bag, ever. I was running around yesterday with multiple shopping bags and I slung it around my body as a messenger bag and it was so cute!!!!!!! xoxo
I believe it, i didn't even know about Lindy bags until you introduced us to it!
I think it's pretty obvious that we all want what you have, Tina! I don't know if it's your enthusiasm, your impeccable taste, or both but you definitely get "it".
By the way, there is more info on mother's day gifts here: http://kindo.com/blog/2008/05/07/mothers-day-gifts-are-common-all-over-the-world-but-different-local-cultures/en/
Maybe we shoul add your bags to our site as well :-)
I know that this is a late comment, since the mother day is bye and gone for this year, but I think these are quite expensive gifts. I well settled with a nice hand made card and a self made cake as the perfect gifts. Is it not meant for our children remember us somehow on this day? What I mean is that, sure,my husband could afford something pictured, but then again-I´m not my husband´s mother.
