I guess the bad economy is affecting all of us - we can now enjoy massive savings!! =) I have been wanting the softy tote all season, they come in amazing spring colors and I am getting the light teal. I have been waiting for it to go on sale but I never expected 40% off!! It is so soft, like a big pillow, and is uber comfy and easy to use. I got the matching driving moccasins which makes for the ultimate duo for suburbia life (city life, I pay full price for!). The private sale is May 15-17, after that the sale opens to everyone, but by then all the good stuff will have sold out, especially if you want shoes.

I tried to call Carla at Tod's but she was out sick and the SA said that the sale was private, I mentioned bagsnob's article and she wouldn't budge. She was a snot. The sale to the public begins May 27. I'll try again, hopefully I'll be able to get a bag and wallet and maybe even a pair of sandals.
I got a hold of Carla today and she was so sweet!! She took alot of time with me on the phone and is sending me 2 bags and a wallet. I'm so excited, thanks for the great article and heads up on the sale. This is my first Tod's purchase.
