Roberto Cavalli Fringed Bags: What NOT to buy

We're always reading about must have bags in magazines but how about showing what we "must not waste our money on"? Especially anything remotely resembling a maltese, 60s go go boots, or all of the above. Look at that thing! It even has a gold collar attached so you know someone in the design room thought the same. Roberto Cavalli Fringed bracelet frame bag $1,565 at Net a Porter

  • gosh Tina I soo agree with you! I think that anything by Mr Cavalli is not worth buying (I am talking handbags here not clothes!) It's so tacky and flashy and oh so not worth investing in cause they won't be worth much in few years time. I will stay away.

  • These are UG. Woof.

  • "Finged" bags?!

  • Tina-Maybe this is a new exotic skin? A Yak bag? Musk Ox skin?

Not loving it either, not really even liking it at all...

  • l must admit that i absolutely love the first clutch

  • the ugly bags are not as offensive as the hefty price tags. I am disgusted.

  • mq cb, thanks for alerting me to the typo! too much sun and not enough sleep this week :) xo

  • I've seen some ugly bags before, but this kind of look like a little yappie dog with a handle.

  • in 6th grade we had a biology project where we had to "design" an animal especially for a certain climate. i made a gumdrop-shaped tundra beast made of pine needles. it looked exactly like that.

  • Finally! Something to properly accessorize my collection of hula skirts!!! Seriously, those bags are butt ugly, they remind me of those shag rugs from the 70s that you had to rake instead of vacuum.

  • These bags remind me to shaggy dogs.... Really cute on the dogs but not so cute on the bags. What are these designers thinking???

  • wow, those are really tacky. I like some of his clothes but the accessories are something else.
