There are those days we all need to be proper and ladylike - what can be more appropriate for that than this Nancy Gonzalez croc and python bag? It is eternally classic but the gold metallic python trim certainly spices things up a bit. The much needed pleating and the ruched python band definitely updates an otherwise traditional shape. I saw this bag on someone (at the Barneys Christian Louboutin personal appearance, everyone there had fabulous bags!) and immediately jumped her to get all the info on it. She had it in chocolate but I love the silver to make it a bit less serious, brown croc is the ultimate classic color for croc but it does make it kind of old lady-ish. And I don't ever like black croc because you can't see the detail in the skin. Of course, the best thing about Nancy Gonzalez is the fantastic price point. It is $3650 (for a mostly croc bag!!) at Bergdorf Goodman.

Yeah,I like the look of this bag a lot-mainly cause it is my favorite color plus the size. I recently ordered a ribbon clutch by NC and it was larger than Louboutin´s and a lot cheaper, but had to send it back cause even though brand new, I could have just started ripping the lizard from the sides(if you know what I mean). However,I didn´t do it and then realized once again that you get what you pay for. All this told, I´m not so convinced of NC bags.
For the money, it would be difficult to find a more beautiful, classic bag than this Nancy Gonzalez. I may have to place a call to Bergdorg Goodman. Thanks for posting.
Nancy Gonzalez has really carved out a market. I love her bags. I saw a recent ad that had a bunch of bags piled on top of each other, and all the colors and skins just work so well together. I like that she her bags, even the huge ones, don't appear to be particularly heavy. A modern design and color really liven up the potentially stodgy shape of this bag. A gem.
I agree, the bag is fabulous. I have seen several Nancy Gonzalez bags lately that I really love, but this one is really modern and chic. I love the pleating.
This is just another NG bag I love... it borders on doctor bag, with the pleats and gorgeous green python, it gives it a special edge. I love Nancy, as a devoted fan - it hits all the right points; price, fashion, timeless, and classic. It kills me when Elle puts in NG always as "80 and over." I'm 23 years old and I LOVE, LOVE her handbags... I'm a more conservative kinda girl but Love to be trendy as well and NG hits that. I purchase her handbags without a thought of "will this go out of style," because guess what... it never will. Just bought this bag for my mother, I can't wait to borrow it!
