Both Kelly and I adore Tod's. We look forward to each season and always manage to pick up a bag or two, or three (especially during the sale!). This season, I am clamoring for one of the softy bags. The tote is a too big for me, so I am leaning toward the shoulder messenger bag. Soft and sturdy, these bags are utterly adorable and so lightweight! After carrying around my 4-pound crocodile bags (empty), grabbing a softy Tod's bag is so liberating! 
I need it for traveling. I have a headache just thinking of upcoming trips (six!), and the last thing I need, is to lug around heavy and cumbersome bags (or high heels ... I need the fab ballet flats, too!). The softy bags are so casual and fun, especially in the season's signature blue. The leather versions retail for $1,800, and the python (to die for ... it's so amazing in a plethora of brilliant colors) is around $3,000. The softy also comes in a perfect little clutch. I am there with you about TOD's. My sis and I are devotees. Our SA know to keep our bags presitine and in its plastic wrapping now. I really like the small clutch. Love all the flats. I can walk in them for hours.

I don't know. Maybe I just don't get it. Maybe I need to rethink my concept of trendy shapes, but in two years, these bags will just be sitting in the closet. You can always sell them on ebay though. I mean, if one was GIVEN to me, I'd be all about it. Maybe I'm just being cranky today.

i didn't think too much of these softy bags when i saw them in the window, but i picked one up in the store and it was adorable.... even my anti-bag boyfriend loved it!
