You know you better get on the bright color trend when the Queen of Minimalist, who favors Blacks/Grays/Browns, gets her flashy on in a hot pink exotic! Of course she remembers her core clients and offers it in white and brown, but it's the pink you will remember from the collection. Each season, Jil Sander bag designer Raf Simons offers simple bags with a signature avant garde touch. The bags are not popular with the Gucci or LV crowd, but to me, that's a good thing! Leave Jil Sander to us true Bag Snobs, who appreciate the refined designs. And how great are the prices? The eye catching pink snakeskin bag above is a mere $2,195, that's for real skin, not embossed!!! And you should see how I am drooling over the white python tote below, it is simply luxurious! Thank you for writing about Jil Sander bags. They are gorgeous and definitely embody this logoless luxury a la Bottega Veneta.

How unfortunate for me to be able to just look at a picture of a very desirable bag-the pink reptile tote! It´s totally excellent;informal and easy, yet very chic. Maybe I could book a flight from Europe and come and get it, since I´m carrying the mighty euros! Just joking.

I am also thinking of getting pink patent Bayswater from Mulberry-I think I fell in love with it!

if it were in a different color, i think i would like it better. the shape is a little too trendy for me as it sort of just looks like a bucket from sav-on.

pjh- I guess for a man, this color would not work. I happen to love it and the shape is great for summer. I saw this at Barneys in SF and the strap is adjustable so you can sling it over the shoulder and the bag itself slouches beautifully!

Mette,
You can buy Jil Sander over there. It was originally a German company. I bet it will be less for you, since these are American dollar prices.

Love the white clutch. Actually just love Jil Sander for simple designs. I like the pink color but the shape just doesn't get me really excited.

Jil Sander is amazing, I have a black dress from five years ago that still looks fresh and current today.

Thank you Sue. Yes, they have a shop in Berlin. I have shopped at YSL in Berlin via phone and the service is always excellent. Maybe I could call this shop too and see if it works and check how much this bag-they have it in white and black too-actually costs.
