I am going to ignore the fact that this sumptuous bag is pumped with as much silicone as Pamela Anderson and just focus on the lovely crocodile skin. I stared at this for five minutes and so wanted to click "buy" but closed the page before I gave in to any insane urges! Good thing I can get it out of my system by writing about it to you guys :) We just adore the plushy shape of Zagliani's signature bags and in pale gray crocodile, how could you go wrong? It's classic but funky with pleated details and it's super practical with double interior compartments to keep your keys from scratching your nice wallet plus it has easy to open clasps. It's almost, dare I say it... Perfect! I say almost because 16" wide is a tad too big for me. I can do up to 14" but that's it! We got the most exciting email the other day from an exotic skin tannery that is 100% owned by Hermes. They offered to give us a tour of their facilities in Louisiana and Kelly thought it would be okay to go as long as we were served Alligator burgers. You know, so the exotic skins would be a by product and we wouldn't have to feel guilty for our lust of all things scaly. This darling Zagliani Crocodile Puffy Satchel is at Saks for $11,800 (before you scream, remember Hermes crocodile bags are 30k so this is really a steal! At least that is what you should tell your husband. Tip of the day: Always compare your bag purchases with Hermes and they will seem like bargain basement prices!).

Pretty but not irresistable. I think I will wait for a croc Hermes Kelly.
What a great invite to tour an Hermes tannery. Maybe you can pick skins for your next bag?!
Cannot wait to see the pics.

I agree with Tina, always compare with the more expanive piece and it will seen like a bargain uh... smile.
It' a nice piece but not at $11.8K. I'd rather buy a Kelly exotic skin and love it for the rest of my life. My sis just got an ostrich kelly as a b-day gift from hubby and her daughter already laid claim to it. She is 5. The bag is fuchsia so the little darling is in love with it.

I love Zagliani and I love this bag too but Tina, you know that you can do better for this price, think of all those fab Chanel bags you could get for $11,000;)
It's a pretty classic design but if I had a choice I would go for Hermes-more expensive but timeless.
Knowing you though, you will get both :D

Zagliani has this in a Metallic Python version too, and I think it looks just as good! Plus, the python version is about a quarter of the price of the croc one.

Some of you readers are really stuck on name brands. Wow! This bag is fab , and 11k is a nice price considering. The name Chanel is not what makes the bag. What a silly notion.

Pam Stein: Naturally people are stuck to name brands.A good name usually means security .I don´t and can´t waste my money on stuff I´m not sure about.

I almost purchased this bag until I saw the crocs from the Dior fall show. What do think of the Dior versus the Zagliani?
