In its latest ad, Louis Vuitton features an unexpected Spoksperson and no, it's not a glamazon Supermodel nor a preteen starlet; it's a raggedy looking, eyeliner wearing and deeply wrinkled Keith Richards. Yes, as in Rock legend, as in the definition of cool, as in if he uses Louis Vuitton, it's safe to go back to the monogram. At least that is what the masterminds behind this Core Value campaign is hoping to achieve. What do you think? Will this tempt you back to the brand?

You know something . It kinda does tempt me for some reason. I mean , i am not a fan of glazed plastic but their limited edition pcs are worth collecting. Hmmmmm let me head on over to Louis Vuitton 3rd floor. :)

Would it make me buy their handbags? No. Why? Because I doubt Keith ever cared about owning a LV
-this picture is trying to convince us that he only trusts LV to carry his precious stuff-everyone who knows a little bit about Rolling Stones and their wild antics will laugh at it.Seriously, their newest collection is pathetic, those yellow handbags plastered with denim blue logo-yuck!

After taking a jump to the LV store. My answer is a big fat NO. Louis Vuittons time has past. Just like everything else BIG on 5th AVE. Way to turisty. NYC is supposed to be the Gotham City , meaning fab things happen behind closed doors. LV is too in your face , and the sales people act as if they are doing you a favor.Very jaded. Funny Funny.

Nope, this doesn't do it for me. Ultimately, it is still the same brown logo that I don't like. The only LV I've ever cared for was the Mahina, and that's because the logo wasn't in your face on that bag. Does the ad catch my eye - yeah, maybe to say "what the heck is that?!". Does it make me want their bags? Not really.

It does not tempt me back to the brand but I do appreciate the originality!

Um...who exactly is their target audience? Do luxury-buying women like Keith Richards? I'm so confused.

I'm 17 and this ad appeals largely to people my age. Vuitton may not be your style but it's not out of style, it's a classic. As a male, I love carrying the MC as my luggage - it is not just "coated plastic," the stuff holds up well during travel. I have several pieces including the Keepalls, Satellite, Peigese, and Carryall and I will continue to carry them for ages...even when I'm working for Mens Vogue.
:D

Where did they dig him up? Keith Richards is like an old dinosaur. I don't like monogram bags to begin with... this campaign would not make me reconsider.
