I fear with all of this gushing over Hermes, Chanel and YSL I have been neglecting our Bag Snobs in training and frugal Bag Snobs. As I always say, price does not dictate one's taste and real style can not be bought! Which is why I want to tell you about Martine Sitbon's practical yet stylish line of bags. I am old enough to remember when she was the toast of Parisian fashion and am so glad she is back! (Though she lost the rights to her name and is now billed as MS by Martine Sitbon) There is the simple Black tote with art deco-ish metallic stitching ($409), a Pleated Shoulder Bag ($396), a silver shopper ($396) with contrast handles that is adorable and fun, and an oversized clutch in glossy patent leather ($246). If you are on a budget, evaluate your bag wardrobe to determine what you want this season. Is it an oversized tote for work? A trendy pleated metallic bag? Or perhaps you need a nice big clutch for luncheons and evenings out. Whatever your needs, there are no other bags at this price point ($200-$400) that will fit the bill better than Martine Sitbon! • and she also n used to design ready-to-wear at Chloé.I love the clutch,it's simple and in lovely color.

  • This is fabulous, cheap and chic.

  • Not to be a Snob. But the first 2 look super cheap , like $50- $75 cheap..

BUT! The Metallic Stitch Tote is very cute.

  • Thank you, Tina! I am a bag snob in training. I bought a Lanvin Hurrah satchel for work (LOVE) but I need something inexpensive to throw around on the weekends. These might have some possibility.

Is it possible to put the silver shopper on your shoulder?

  • I was eyeing the silver shopper for weeks!

Joy - the silver shopper comes with a detachable shoulder strap.

  • Eww ick, the clutch looks like one's grandparent's heating pad cover. The light brown pleated shoulder bag, however, does seem functional, pretty and understated enough to offer some serious versatility.

  • i love the last three!

  • LOVE the pleated shoulder bags!

  • For all of you Martine Sitbon fans, these bags are not designed by her!!!!! They are designed by a Korean company that still has rights to her name. Thank fully, the Korean Company will lose the right to produce any more merchandise using Martine Sitbon's name. These bags are cheap looking. If you want to by real, authentic Martine Sitbon go to her new line, RUE DU MAIL.Com.

  • I bought the silver shopper and the hardware was not even brass--just pot metal that wore out after a few months of wear. plus, the silver rubbed right off the leather from day one.

    very disappointing.
