I got this and the Drill in silver already.
Absolutely love these two chanel bags - gorgeously.
The purple 2.55 reissue looks nice too, but it does not look as long lasting at the blue... so i got the blue...
The drill is great - it is the same size as the 2.55 re-issue, but as it is not double flapped, and made of really smooth lambskin - it can actually hold a lot of stuff.

As I've said before I am such a conservative figure I only like 2.55 with classic CC logo closure. The color is divine though!
I saw this bag in metallic green last weekend and almost swooned. (Being a redhead, I'm nuts for green.)

Jane, love that idea! Tina, I will never get sick of the 2.55. I was on Rodeo a few weeks ago and had to trot into Chanel just to be around them. I love this color, as I think it's not too trendy yet it's totally modern.
I've got the purple metallic reissue in the classic size last week and loving it. It is so very 'eye-catching' and attention grabbing. The purple definitely "jump out" from a crowd.

Bought this bag on Friday and love it! While buying the bag, I tried on the J12 38mm watch in white with diamonds. Seems like a really fun watch for the summer. What do you think? I have always stuck to Cartier, but maybe it is time to expand?

Bite your tongue! Classics like this are NEVER boring! Although the puzzle bag was a cute take on the original, I could see it getting old very quickly. IMHO, Chanel has gotten this one right. Keeping the same shape but updating the color or hardware is the best way to bring a beloved item like the 2.55 up to date. Love love love the blue, BTW!

I purchased this bag a few weeks ago from Neimans in Beverly Hills. It is absolutely gorgeous. It honestly looks better in person. I have some of the other metallic colors in the 2.55 like the purple and the red- but this bag is by far my favorite. It is a must have for any serious chanel collector.

I was in Paris two weeks, could not resist walking into the Chanel boutique in Rue Cambon. I feasted my eyes and could not resist purchasing my first 2.55. There was only the metalic black and purple and I was not bold, so, i took the metalic black.
So, do you think it was a wise choice since the color purple is so popular this season.
Chooi, you chose a most classic color with a modern twist, the metallic black will be a lifetime investment. The metallic purple will seem punky and out of place a few years from now.
