Well, this precious amazing Duette in python will not be going back. It is on pre-order and I will be counting the days, the hours, the minutes until it is mine! If it is waxed python, does this mean that the scales are less likely to curl?

Bottega's scales NEVER curl, even when sticky little hands throw them in water. And if anything does happen, take it right back and Bottega will fix it for you :)
I saw this at the trunk show and the bag is soooooo soft. I am not as crazy about this color in person, the cream is a bit better.

The bag is delish but the color on my screen is not so good. You really can not compare the Muse, a thousand dollar leather bag, with a Bottega exotic. They are so different! I ordered the Muse from my SA at YSL the minute you guys featured it, it was a no brainer! This one would be an investment!
I am not a python fan but I saw a crocodile bag at Bottega the other day that is so amazingly soft and supple. it's $17,000...
You've featured some lovely bags on this website but I'm not sure about this one. Maybe the picture doesn't do it justice, but the colour looks a bit sickly and there is just too much python, if that makes any sense (?)

I too like BV bags,but this one is not my favorities.Is it the snaky appearance or what. And it looks a bit too pussy to me too.I prefer my bags to stand on there own.

whats extraordinary to me is that a company is asking for 4100 dollars for a handbag on a web site and they have just the one picture! No side or interior shots, not showing all the colors, ridiculous! I would like to see how those side pockets look opened.
