Tod's New Eight Due Manici

Spring is here! Or at least spring bags are and all the soft shades are making me very happy. This jade patent Tod's is so cool and refreshing, like an apple martini at the beginning of a good balmy night (although this color is more minty but it still makes me think of a cocktail). The tote is very practical and very Tod's but it is not my most favorite, it is a bit big and clunky and the double handles look like a lot of straps to me (shoulder strap is removable). The outer pocket is great in function but it bulges out too much. But I just love the color!! And the crinkled patent in this shade makes it modern and young. A simple Tod's in this exact color and patent leather will be absolutely amazing and perfect! We'll look out for it as the season continues. Tod's New Eight Due Manici Media is $1,750 at eluxury.

  • I agree,it's a nice&practical bag in lovely color but it just doesn't make me weak at the knees.S/S season is yet to reveal it's coolest bag.

  • I saw this yesterday, the color is fresh and crisp. But the bag itself is bulky. They have another one in a light pink, equally fresh color and the shape is a bit more wearable.

  • ugly!! I have many Tod's bags that are gorgeous and stylish!! Not this one!!

  • Not so cute, the color is good though. Does the front pocket look like a separate bag to anyone else?

  • Tod's is touch and go with me. The color is tremendous; I'm just not sure I love the shape. Also, their placement of their logo is always obtrusive to me. Still this is a cute bag worthy of praise. :)

  • Oh no,the outer pocket again. This bag also looks somewhat hard, the leather I mean. Don´t like the pale color either.

  • I like the color (you are right one with the cocktail assessment - it reminds me of a mojito), but the shape seems too clunky for such a refreshing hue.

  • This is not a cool bag - too many handles and too bulgy. It has lost Tod's touch in my opinion (I have many Tod's in my collection). And the color is really limited to SS. I will definitely pass this one irregardless of the color.

  • hmmm..i like the shape/style of this, but that's because it looks almost identical to my Jerome Dreyfuss Billy Bag. way to come up with something original tod's...
