For our frugal Bag Snobs and Snobs in training- here is my "Must have" Cheap Thrill bags for Spring 2008. I really think you should try something different and go for a designer that is not on the arm of every mall rat in America (actually, I beg you, please leave the Juicys and Coaches to the fashion illiterate!).

The Mini tote from uber cool French designer Stephane Verdino is edgy and glamorous without the hefty price tag. At 12"x11" it will make a great daily or travel bag this season. Toss in your sunscreen, a bikini and a copy of the hilarious "Celebutantes" (a must read this summer!) and you'll be ready to rock the shores of St. Tropez. Stephane Verdino tote- $315 at Saks.com, in black, white, bronze or gunmetal.

So there you have it. My Cheap thrills of the season, now go shop!

I saw the Botkier Lita Clutch over the weekend and it is just darling.
The perfect little clutch for any occasion!
I´m curious-what´s so special with these little pockets stitched around the bags? I don´t like them at all.The MJ version is actually hilarious.A tiny bag with small pockets to give it width.
stephane verdino is smokin'!!! the mj aline is not small. I have the pewter version and it is quite big. I use the side pockets for cell and valet tickets but I could do without them.
i also like the large morgan by elezar as a "cheap thrill" work bag.
I'm loving the goldy one...
thanks bagsnobs, i always appreciate these posts. i love the tote and the elaine turner!
Really love that MBMJ bag. Now, only if they made a men's version of that!
Love the last MJ white bag. The pockets are so stylish, bringing a little old fashioned structure with a modern edge. Love it.
