Pauric Sweeney has definitely proven without a doubt that they are a force to be reckoned with. Each season they come out with bags that make our hearts flutter. Sure they are practically the same bag in different colors and materials, but still, that means the basic design is THAT good!!! I love the overnight bag but it's too big and impractical for everyday, this bag is flatter and smaller so you can look normal carrying it. It is still a big bag at 18" wide x15" high x5.5" deep, which is great for city girls and suburbia car whores alike. I have such a sense of security knowing I can take whatever I want with me and leave it all in the car if I get tired lugging it around. My big bag is my security blanket! I am in love with this basket weave, it is tone on tone with cream and off white so it gives it so much more texture than just a regular basket weave. It actually makes it younger and fresher, almost like straw, instead of the Bottega serious more mature woven look. The dark leather straps and trim is slightly rugged and masculine and is the perfect contrast to give it the hipness Pauric is known for. You can't go wrong with this for Spring, it will even go with light flowy summer dresses if you have the right shoes on (ultra feminine ones). At Net a Porter for $1465.

Great looking bag! Question: it's designated a shoulder bag, but the strap drop is only 1 inch, unlike other Pauric Sweeney bags. Is it really feasible as such?
I just adore Pauric's creations. He is such a talented designer, and he's Irish too! His designs may be the same but the way he uses exotic skins such as python, stingray and eel make the basic shapes look fresh and new everytime. I've had my black python with tan whipstich handles for 2 years and it is still as cutting edge as the day I splurged and bought it.
