Blue is my favorite color, you might think it's purple but that was a seasonable favorite, the color I wear the most of and own the most things in is blue (car included, I wish there was a bag made in that BMW blue). Well, this is navy and not that same blue but I love this color and I like that there is no chain strap. The shape is great, lady-like, classic and everyday sensible. I like the slightly puffed patchwork, adds a bit of trendiness and modernity. The thing I can't get over though is the giant gross gold clasp. What are all those little pock marks? Looks like maggots were fossilized on it. So, see, we aren't always totally mean to Marc Jacobs. I always did like the patchwork, it just didn't like the thick chains on them. If he would only improve on the hardware, I would consider getting one again, although it wouldn't be with the same excitement I had 5 years ago. He has yet to design the perfect bag since. But I am hopeful and looking forward to what he will show for Fashion Week. At Net a Porter for $1395

The clasp would be ugly even without the maggot dints in it.
I like the hammered metal clasp. Kind of a surprisingly tough element with the ladylike styling of the Klein.
