We adore the urban chic Rive Gauche tote from YSL in the season’s all important ombre hue from dark to light grays in a glorious shiny leather! We have always loved the shape of this bag but this is one of the most delectable colors we’ve seen on it. The iconic toggle closure immediately identifies it as YSL without a blazing logo and it make it easy to remove the flap for ease of access to your bag. They kept the overall design of the Rive Gauche clean with a few minor details like the side wrap around strap that will help the bag keep its structure while giving it a bit of pizazz. Lots of features on the inside including a removeable key case (in a bag this size you do not want to be digging around for your keys!), zippered compartments and cell phone pockets. We also love the versatility of the removeable shoulder strap and the double handles (which if you are tiny like me, will also go over your shoulders). At 14″wx15″h it is large but not alarmingly so. If you are looking for a gift for a sophisticated bag snob in your life, look no further. $1995

This is great.I could easily imagine owning one myself. The price is very reasonable. The shape is so perfect and the size for me very suitable. The cruel truth is that I live a very normal life-no shopping tours,a very little traveling, almost no party life,so it would be a shame to buy something I´d only use once or twice.
I’ve always loved the Rive Gauche and this color is TDF! Definitely on my wish list

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
I bought this bag (in black) on the weekend when I went to YSL’s Shanghai store launch party with my fashion editor friend. She was green with envy to say the least. And then to find out that the bag was featured on Bagsnob.com was the ultimate ego booster for me. I’ve been reading Bagsnob.com for almost one year, hoping it’ll mold my taste in bags over time. Looks like it has.
This is a great bag and the size, coloration and texture are very well suitable both for casual looks and for a visit downtown; for anyone living a very normal yet unordinary life. And I would say especially suitable for the temperate (and thanks to global warming, rather rainy) climate I am living in.
