I am finally in the holiday spirit, being sick and stressed right before Christmas was no fun and made me very Ba Hum Bug. But seeing the cheer of Christmas lights and the joy it brings to my son's face got me out of my slump and I am back in happy holiday shopping mode. So, I was at the Apple store today picking up a few presents (can't say what or for whom as there is still one more day til Christmas!) and got enticed by the iPod Touch. (This is always my problem, I go shopping for others and always end up with finding things I can not live with out.) Everyone I know is obsessed with their iPods and I never understood why as I have never liked my iPod nano, it's confusing to set up and the little turn knob thing is hard for me to use so it just sits there collecting dust. I shared this with the helpful guy at the iPod bar and he immediately pulled out the iPod Touch and said I had to give it a try. The minute he turned it on and let me touch it I was hooked and of course brought one home with me! The Touch is so easy to use, plug it in and it does everything for you.
Best part is the super big screen that you touch to activate, it's all intuitive so even my three year old figured it out by playing around with the icons. I am totally obsessed with it and have joined the club of the Apple geeks. But seriously, it will make my life so much easier! It has Wifi so I can get online to see how everything published on Bag Snob, it has a photo function so it's now my brag book(so easy, it extracts photos straight from your computer), the address book was imported from my mailbox so it will replace my PDA but most importantly, the big screen allows my son to watch his favorite Caillou shows whenever he wants to! (As in while I am at Barneys trying on clothes) it will also be great for traveling, we will never lug around the portable dvd player with the heavy dvds on the plane again.
Now I am on the hunt for the perfect iPhone/Touch case (I did not like the gross plastic ones they were selling at the Apple store) but so far I can only find this one in Epi leather from Louis Vuitton. It is quite nice but a bit boring. I want a bit of shine so I will keep looking for a metallic leather one. But if you are an iPhone/Touch addict, this would be a great gift to yourself :) the iPod Touch would also make a great gift for the person in your life who fears high tech gadget because if my three year old can navigate this, anyone can! iPod touch $299-399 at Apple Stores or here online.

Just wanted to drop a comment and say- still loving the updates with all these gorgeous bags.
Just returned from a hectic but eye-opening visit to New york (and goodness is it cold over there!), and visited all the beautiful department stores (Saks and the 3 B's). What a vibrant and bustling city- different sort of energy to london. And of course all the beautiful bags and shoes on offer!
Keep up the good work! Without your site I never would have come to appreciate some of the subtle but beautiful brands available in the handbag industry, eg. bottega veneta, valextra and so on.

I think the touch is for us snob girls. Because I hated the nano as well. When I ordered some stuff from shopbiancas guess what the free catalog came on? An Ipod Touch. the catalog is in the ipod touch, talk about creative . Anyway I love the touch for the same reason you do. All you do is plug it in and go. Did anyon win that teal NG bag yet? Its to die for.
I have the perfect case . Mine is stingray and I am in love with it . and it hooks on your belt or the inside pocket of your bag. So nice . And it has alittle hole for your ear phones to stick out of.

P.S. Just want to add how strange it is for me to be recognized by our readers. It has been happening frequently the last year- from New York to LA and of course in Dallas. I was at Barneys the other day shopping for Christmas ornaments and the cute salesgirl said "Ms. Bag Snob Tina, how can I help you". I thought I knew her and was trying to figure out how and where but she told me she recognized me purely from the bag I was carrying. the exact same thing happened in ny a few times, you ladies really have an eye for my bags!

I second the Vaja case. I bought one for my Treo three years ago and it has saved me from replacing the phone many times over from my numerous oops- drops. I made my yearly trek to North Park on Christmas eve. We didn't visit the Apple store -- we ran out of time. I spent too much time at Barney's looking at the Valextra bags. They are better in person than online. I hope you have a happy holiday.
For some reason I am unable to send any emails to your bagsnob email address. It says IP address is blocked. I tried 3 computers all in different locations. I am currently on an Internet cafe in the tri state area and its still not going through. I hope this gets to you guys.
