Seril Python Knockout Clutch - Snob or Slob?

What does Angelina Jolie and Muhammad Ali have in common? They both love a knockout! Seril's Knockout bag was recently spotted clutched in the claws of Jolie (she also had her claws firmly on her other 'knockout', Brad) and propelled the brand to the forefront of tabloid heaven. I like seeing interesting new bags but I am not sure if different in this case is that great. The holes look obscene to me and Angelina looks uncomfortable holding it- how strong do your fingers have to be when it's full of stuff? I do love the description on Elements' website "Holes are meant for your fingers"... uh.... what else would you stick in the holes? Wait, I don't want to know!

Anyway, what do you snobbers think? Snob or Slob? $600 at Elements in Chicago.

  • Looking at it by itself, it looks like a great idea, and would be comfy to hold actually, but when looking at Angelina and seeing how big the clutch actually is, i can see how it would be awkard. It probably would have been better if it were a little smaller, or if the holes were closer together than they really are.

  • i would have liked it more if they had gone all the way. maybe they could have used brass knuckles as the handle...

  • not really a fan of the holes. the leather looks lush though.

  • It looks as if the tips of her fingers had been amputated; it's quite freakish. It is not flattering at all.

  • It just looks like her fingers are splayed too far apart for it to be comfortable, but it's a new idea, and I like new ideas.

  • it might be very useful if you want to paint your nails, just stick your fingers thru, paint your nails and wait for them to dry....lol.

  • Don't like it! Holes are too far apart, I know we are not always looking for comfort (That's why we are bag snobs, right?) but, I can see me eventually caring it under my arms when my fingers got tired!

  • Awkward, looks like a phase she's going thru, This to shall pass...... :)

  • The round shape and finger holes make it look more like it was inspired by a bowling ball-why not name it "Strike" instead of "Knockout"? Just plain WEIRD!

  • price isnt that bad, and I like the finger holes on the purse. Sometimes I dont know what to do with my clutches as I am used to handbags and shoulder bags. but I still wouldnt get that back. its looks to gothic
