Sang A Juliette Python

Sang A is one of our favorite new designers and looking at this python Boston it isn't hard to see why. She takes your everyday east/west shape and cleans it up with crisp refreshing lines. She describes her style as modern classic, which sounds like an oxymoron but this bag is a perfect example of that characterization. I love the proportion of the height vs. length - she struck it just right for me here, usually I am caught wanting these types of bag to be taller so it doesn't look like a loaf of bread. And how do I love love love the extra long straps!! It looks super sharp when holding it in your hand and allows enough slack off your shoulder so it is not crammed in your underarm - it's uncomfortable and you can't see the bag properly!! The single piece construction going up the sides is lush and gives the bag the fluid shape. Of course I don't have to emphasize the fact that it being python elevates it from "nice bag" to "OMG!! I have to have it" status for me. As it is, you can't go wrong here, but as a super happy shopping bonus, LuxCouture is having a blowout Fall sale; starting today, prices will drop daily until everything is sold out site wide (sale excludes Pauric Sweeney and LAI). The full retail of this Sang A Juliette bag is $2300, have anxious fun determining when you buy vs risking a sell out!!

  • Thanks for the heads up. I LOVE Sang A! The second that Large River Tote drops below $2000, I'm gonna get it! Heck, I might even get the Blue Jade Clutch and the White Flash Clutch as xmas gifts. This is so exciting! On your marks ladies...

p.s. The handles definitely make that boston bag. I hate it when women walk around with their bags stuffed under their arms...not flattering...for the women OR the bags. ;)

  • This is nice but a bit square, does it soften up?

  • I almost bought this just after midnight when I was stalking the sale. Picked up the beautiful blue River Tote instead. Might still grab this one, though!

  • oh no...the large river tote is out of stock!!! :(

  • nice bag and thanks for the heads up about the sale!

  • isn't 'boston' becoming a common style name for bags that are a little boxy in the bottom? BV also has a 'boston' bag, Valextra has one too
