I love the “preview sale” most retailers are promoting this season. Neiman Marcus, Barneys New York (today only, 20-40% off Fall items!) and now Saks has joined the early discount game. Get your favorite Fall stuff today cuz it will go quick! If you wait til after Thanksgiving the pickings will most likely be slim.
Today was my son’s first day at school and I expected him to cry and carry on etc. but sadly, the only one crying was me! He and his father laughed at me and my little three year old skipped off to his new classroom where many adventures await him, leaving me sobbing in the lobby (true story!). To make myself feel better, I indulged in a little (just a little honey, if you are reading this) retail therapy at Barneys. I scored some amazing goodies during this one day sale (everything goes back to full price tomorrow!) but the best part is Barneys is going to donate 10% of proceeds from this one day sale to three charities! They are open tonight until 9pm and serving cocktails so if you are in the area, pop over and check it out!
