You keep asking us to feature bags under $1,000 that is multi-functional, though this is no Hermes bespoke, it's a great thrill at $458! I am telling you Marc by Marc Jacobs is turning out better bags than the Marc Jacobs line. This is the ultimate computer/work/school bag, at this price point there are very few choices that will offer quality leather and detailed design but the Lovely Behati fits the bill. It looks almost like a briefcase but with a few whimsical pintuck details, it's utterly charming. If I were in college right now, this is what I'd be toting my laptop in. (Who am I kidding, I was running around with a Chanel 2.55 in college. As Kelly said, I used to use it as an overnight bag and could fit clothes in it for a sleep over at her apartment) Anyway, the pebbled grain leather is nice and soft and there are lots of interior pockets to keep you organized; the large outer pocket with magnetic closure is also perfect for storing files, keys, disks and cords. Marc by Marc Jacobs Lovely Behati available in cream (shown above) or nice tan (nice tan? who thinks up these names anyway? I know Marc likes to name the bags after models-like the Stam- I meant the color name) $458 at eLuxury- Automatically receive free shipping with every order!!!

  • I really wanted this bag, but it was so gigantic that I decided not to buy it. I like a big bag as much as the next, but if you can fit in it, it's too big.

I bought the Dr. Q Groovee Handbag, which was a splurge for me. I don't think I carried anything more glamorous than a JanSport when I was in college.

  • Sorry! Once again I have to tell you all that I r e a l l y don´t like this bag at all. OK the price is low, but the design is even lower.

  • it's not meant to be a purse. It's a laptop/ travel bag.

it's nice for that price point.

  • i love marc by marc jacob bags. They are cuter than MJ's LV or Marc Jacobs bags! Plus I don't feel guilty if I stop wearing them after a season or so.

  • Am I the only one who sees a torso in a bathing suit when they look at this? The sweetheart neckline (or soft v-neck perhaps?), empire waist with pleats and then a low cut bikini.

  • omg, Mariena, now I'm totally seeing that bikini thing

LOL, YOU GUYS ARE KILLING ME! I SEE IT NOW TOO... HAHAHA
    xo, Bag Snob

  • I don't mind this, it could make a good computer/work or weekend bag.
