About a month ago, Tina wanted to buy us croc luggage but we decided against it. Good thing because this is what I want!! We love everything YSL so how incredibly fabulous would it be to have this Downtown Trolley? It has all the details of a great YSL and it's in patent leather no less to make it even more amazing. You and your luggage will not get lost in the shuffle at the airport with this gorgeous piece rolling along behind you. This is definitely a carry on, the front large pocket is great for magazines. It is 18' tall so smaller than your regular Samsonite types. The handle retracts and a flap cover with brass snaps hides the contraption. Not only will you travel in style, you will be a true Bag Snob with luggage like this! At YSL Boutique for $2795.

That trolley is absolutely divine - and such a reasonable price too, for something so elegant and classic that would get so much use. I'd much rather pay $2800 for a timeless piece of luggage than $1800 for a bag - it really seems like more of an investment, don't you think? In any case, I hope you do buy this Kelly, it's totally fab!!
This is divine but won't it attract too much attention? I am always worried about my luggage being stolen although crocodile is probably just as bad if not worse!
While I agree with Mary that the Downtown bags are trendy, the practicality (size, pockets, etc) and the fact that luggage is almost always less common than the bag tilt the scale.
