OK, maybe you're tired of me going on about purple bags but hey, I am not the one in charge here, every designer is doing purple! Plus, Tina got me going with the Mulberry Purple ostrich Bayswater. That is truly amazing but to be perfectly practical I can't justify $4,000 for a purple ostrich, like we always preach, go classic with your exotics. But it is like chocolate, the craving for it can be quite maddening!! This Mulberry, however, can be justified and easily, too. Who knew Mulberry would have us lusting over them? This bag, even in other color ways, is fantastic. I prefer this in a patent leather so it stand up better but the strap and the two zipper pockets are details that give the bag a lot of style without the heavy handedness of recent Mulberry bags. The shoulder strap has a 7" drop making it good and practical for everyday. Another great feature - open compartments on either side of the main zip compartment to stash random receipts and other soon to be trash. Although not technically a classic, this has all the elements of a bag that can go through many seasons without much hindrance. Get it at Net a Porter
for $1395.

Love purple!
While I love purple (and yes, I have always loved purple/hunter as a fall combination), I absolutely ADORE this bag in the grey patent. While I know that grey is very on-trend, the bag has a silvery sheen due to the patent finish. Anyone know if Mulberry.com ships to the US?
It looks a bit like a jimmy choo bag to me
